The Abbey organ is an integral part of much of the life of the Abbey, in the liturgy, in concerts and recitals, in civic and community events. In addition, music students benefit immensely from the opportunity afforded by the Abbey to play one of the finest organs in the country. I hope that through the generous response of many people to this appeal our magnificent organ can be fully renovated and restored for the benefit of all who love and value music.
